The Welsh Run went well and the rain held off for us. There was just myself on a Cyclemotor - I took the PowerPak, the rest being on an assortment of mopeds and small bikes. I did just about manage to keep up with two of the slower ones though, Trevor on his Honda Express and Dave on his Raleigh Runabout, it was a lovely run through the Welsh countryside and on returning back to Abergavenny we retired to Weatherspoons PH for lunch and a chat.
The next run is on Sunday 14th April and is The Spring Wanderings, the venue is:- The Plough PH, Ploughley Road, Lower Arncott, Bicester. OX25 1NY 10.30am start.
Quickly following The Spring Wanderings is The Southern Saunter on Wednesday 17th April at Honeystreet Mill Cafe, Honeystreet Village, SN9 5PS 10.30am start.
A new run has just been arranged and added to the calendar. It is:- The Cotswold Run, and the first meeting of this new run is on Sunday May 19th and the start/finish venue is Carles Cafe, Cerney Wick Lane, Cirencester, GL7 5LW. 10.30am start. Carles Cafe is on the corner of The Spine Road and Cerney Wick Lane.
It is a lovely flat run of approx 25 miles through some picturesque villages with little traffic and is ideal for Cyclemotors or other feeble powered machines. The cafe is bright and modern with indoor and outdoor seating and serves excellent snacks, light lunches and coffee.So please do come along and support this new run if you are able to.

Myself Jeremy and Nigel who's taking the picture, getting ready check out the new route for the new Cotswold Run. All was good and with a few minor alterations to the route sheet we’re all set for the first run on May 19th, so please join us if you can.
